Kangol from Village Hats
Founded in 1938, Kangol was originally a major beret supplier to the armed services during WWII and the name KANGOL comes from silK, ANGora, and woOL. The Kangol kangaroo logo evolved in America where young people were asking for Kangaroo caps instead of Kangol caps.
The classic 504 Kangol hat shape (named after the number of the hat block it is produced on) has endured to this day. Available in multiple colours and patterns, Kangol currently makes some of the most popular hats in the world. Kangol has been seen on the heads of some of our most famous celebrities; from Brad Pitt in his Kangol Bucket hat, to Run DMC and LL Cool J in their classic Kangol Grouser styles. The world box-office champion, Samuel L. Jackson is often seen wearing his Kangol flat cap (worn with bill to the back).
