Super Thick
This has a double layer so it is very thick. Not sure that I will be wearing it unless there is a layer of snow about. It looks more like a woolly hat on me than a beret and a big hat at that.

The beret has an elastic band sewn in! Great fit
Material though a wool mix, feel s very soft and not much static
